Sorry for still not posting any new pics! Now after I have gotten the camera out of the dark and having taken some pictures the batteries are empty, second batch too. No idea where the charger is. No idea where the card reader is.

That weekend was quite good! Running errands and been grocery shopping on Saturday with a walk with the dogs in between, doing some obedience practice with all of them. Then I pretended being in holidays in France: Having a delicious dinner with homegrown tomatoes, fishsoup with sauce rouille, grated cheese and baguette and a nice salad with my best homemade vinaigrette, cheese and yoghurt for dessert. And then we watched the 80’s show on French TV. Really funny, some good music, Roch Voisine singing Helene. Sunday morning it continued, I first did what had to be done, then settled down in the sun and later shade on the balcony with my knitting, watching the birds both wild and ours, watching the dogs sleeping in the sun, listening to French radio Cherie FM, having nice drinks that made me think of France like lemonade made from lemon syrup…

Had a quiet Saturday evening with knitting and later watching wandering stars from our balcony. Slept in again on Sunday morning, had a nice long breakfeast and then I went to a dog show next town (the one we will move to) to watch and shop (needed chewing stuff and found a simple soft leather collar for Flavie). Had coffee with some great cookies bought in France. Went for a nice walk with the dogs.

Friday pm thoughts Rain wasn't as heavy as it was thought to be, still lots of damage done in south western Germany and in Switzerland. The high water in the Rhein is supposed to arrive in Mannheim/Ludwigshafen today. I am glad that this week is over. All week long I had to start work an hour later and work an hour longer as usual. I still come home around 4.30 pm which I know is not really late but I can't believe how much I miss this hour in the evening at home. No - I don't stay up longer at night or sleep longer in the morning, I tried to get some things done in the morning and used the plus time to go for longer morning walks with the dogs. At the beginning of the week because it was still cool before a hot day (and they won't walk happily at 35°C, also I do not want to wait until 9 pm to go for a 1+ hour walk...), right at the end of the week because it was not raining and you'll never know if it would later. Then I had been out of the house doing necessary things in the evenings, so I really DO look forward to this weekend.
